Planting Seeds, Growing Talents
At Quethiock C of E School, learning begins with curiosity—and grows into something unforgettable.
We believe education should ignite awe and wonder. That’s why our children don’t just learn in the classroom; they explore, question, and connect with the world around them. From forest trails to open skies, outdoor adventure is central to how we nurture independent, resilient learners.
Our teaching is rooted in research, shaped by academic rigour, and delivered with heart. Every child is supported to flourish emotionally, socially, and academically. It all starts in our Ofsted-rated Outstanding EYFS provision (2022)—where the first seeds of confidence, curiosity, and creativity are planted.
A bold, engaging curriculum that inspires children to ‘Bring It!’ every day
High expectations, small school warmth, and personal support
A community built on our core values of Courage, Creativity, and Friendship
Learning that sticks—and memories that last a lifetime
We’re proud to be a Church of England School where spiritual development and academic growth go hand in hand. Our ethos is shaped by the promise of "life in all its fullness", and every decision we make puts children’s happiness, safety, and future at its heart.
Whether you're:

Executive Headteacher & Liskeard Area Hub Lead
Matthew 25:14–30 A master gives three servants different amounts of talents and asks them to use them wisely before he goes off travelling. Some use them well and double their original amount. One buries his only talent, thinking he's keeping it safe and doing the right thing - but the master is angry as he's done nothing with it and passed up the chance of making it grow.
